The final report from our expedition to Heard Island has been delivered to the Australian Antarctic Division .

I only played a small “bit part” in the overall Heard Island Expedition 2016 but for all that, it consumed an enormous amount of my time in the 12 months before we departed Cape Town.

And then for 6 weeks it was all I knew.

Thanks to the team at Kathmandu for this reminder of Heard Island 2016.

This was an awesome adventure,  and definitely one that I would repeat again if the opportunity ever presented itself.

And now it’s on to the next big adventure – Mt Denali, Alaska – May 2017.
